The Dunnerholme links course enjoys a unique location by the Duddon estuary with stunning views to the lakes — it also has a unique layout made up of ten greens, and eighteen tees (giving 18 very different challenges).

Dunnerholme Rock, from which the Golf Club gets its name, is a limestone outcrop that projects out in to the Estuary and forms a challenging part of the course.

The flat top of the rock is a strategic feature of the club’s signature Par 3, sixth hole – from the top, on a clear day, the panoramic view over the Duddon Sands to the Lakeland fells and mountains is spectacular.

Eight of the holes are repeated; but on the back nine, the different tee positions on the replayed holes give them a new perspective.

Each hole on the back nine plays very differently on any repeated greens played on the front nine, bringing exciting new challenges.
