Dunnerholme Juniors Annual Trip 2024

The venue for Dunnerholme Juniors annual trip 2024 was Penrith Golf Hub. Thirteen junior members supported by coaches, parents and grandparents enjoyed a combination of Golf, Footgolf & Crazy Golf. Despite the grey skies the weather remained kind and a couple of light showers didn’t dampen the spirits. Every junior who took part received a goody bag of sweets, kindly provided by Rachel Butler and a chocolate goody bag provided by the Junior Section.
The teams on the day were selected by a draw format plus individual prizes. The games were played using the well versed SIXES scoring system.

Individual
1st – Finley Longmire – 56 points
2nd – Morgan Postlethwaite – 54 points
3rd – Max Porter – 49 points
4th – Oliver Laisby – 44 points
Team
Max Porter, Cleo Whetstone, George Kavanagh & Bill with a combined 165 points

The trip was a great success and everyone had a great day at The Hub. We therefore have many ‘thank yous’ to make – Especially to Irene for her wonderful organisation of the trip as always. A big thank you to all the coaches for their help, and organisation and the parents and grandparents for their support. Last but not least to Jess & Bart for the quiz which was won by Irene and Bill.
Another great day out thoroughly enjoyed by all the Juniors.
