Lady Captain’s Day 18th June 2022

Dunnerholme Ladies took to the fairways on Saturday afternoon to compete for The Lady Captain’s Prize and Ladies Cup.
It was a wild and windy start, fortified by sparkling wine and canapés Lady Vice Gill Newsome and Paula Knott teed off at 12 noon.
The wind gradually increased the sunshine disappeared and by the time the last couple were on the 1st tee, it was hard to imagine it was the middle of June.
There was a welcome respite on the tenth, the Refreshment Igloo, where Lady Captain served drinks and snacks. Much appreciated by the competitors.

After the game and a lovely meal with wine courtesy of Mr. Captain, Lady Captain presented the winners with their prizes.

After the presentation an evening of fun, quizzes and games was enjoyed by all.
