Dunnerholme in April, a beautiful day and a fitting welcome for the 2022 Captain Billy Brough.
Mr. Captain started the day by “Driving In” the 2022 Golf Season followed by 55 members on a Shotgun start.
The sunshine was very welcome, but the temperature was arctic, and winter golf attire was the order of the day.
The steam train passing through, enhanced the day, enjoyed by all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Competition was a singles stableford and the winners turned in some creditable scores.
Winning with 20 points – David Tippett
Second with 19 points – Russell Bolton
Third with 18 points – Steve Braithwaite
There was a prize for nearest the pin with second shot on the 10th – won by Steve Bolton
Steve Holdaway won the “Tray of Eggs” for the Twos.
