Easter Saturday, glorious sunshine, and Dunnerholme Captain\u2019s Drive In. A perfect start to the 2023 Captain – Alan Bolton\u2019s year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

51 members set out to their specified tees for the shotgun start. Mr.Captain drove the season in, from the first tee and the competition began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course looked well in the early morning sunshine, and although the ground was soft in places, the players all enjoyed a great game of golf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were plenty of twos, including the winning card, with twos, on the 4th and the 7th. Stuart High with 22 points won the day, from Gary Stevenson and Ken Byrne with 20 points.
The players returned to the clubhouse for a welcome meal, and Stan\u2019s Terrace was filled with golfers enjoying a beer or two in the Easter sunshine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
