Ten of the Dunnerholme Ladies and their Guests played on Sunday Afternoon in the Invitation Pairs Stableford
The competitors teed off in bright sunshine but the strong blustery wind soon brought in some heavy rain showers and Waterproofs, however briefly, were the order of the afternoon.
Clear winners of the Invitation competition were Mary Doherty and her guest Karlyne Whetstone from Furness Golf Club, with an outstanding score of 48 Points.
Runners up, after a card play off, with 43 Points, Christine Burton and her guest from Ulverston Golf Club, Julie Walker.
Two Nearest the Pin Prizes were both won by Barrow Golf Club members, Eileen Grisedale and Joan Cresswell.
Lady Captain, Irene Brough presented the winners prizes, Irene\u2019s theme for her Captaincy is shop local and the prizes for the Invitation were provided by Special Occasions, Barrow. The ladies enjoyed Afternoon Tea supplied by Charnleys Garden Centre, Dalton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
