A challenging but delightful course
The course layout is over a hundred and twenty years old, but it is kept in tip-top condition by our team of specialised green-staff – who also help preserve a haven for wildlife around the course edges. Over the last few years, many improvements and upgrades have made Dunnerholme a challenge for the modern golfer.

10 Greens, 18 tees, unlimited challenges!
The Dunnerholme links can be played as a full 18 hole round – or as a shorter 9 hole course. Each hole on the back nine boasts different tee positions which give them a new perspective, bringing exciting new challenges.
Dunnerholme Rock, from which the Golf Club gets its name, is a limestone outcrop that projects out into the Estuary and forms a challenging part of the course.
The flat top of the rock is a strategic feature of the club’s signature par 3 sixth hole. From the top, on a clear day, the panoramic view over the Duddon Sands to the Lakeland fells and mountains is truly spectacular.
