Junior Coaching – January

Dunnerholme Juniors braved the cold weather and visited Ulverston Golf Club’s practice facility. The morning was split into two sessions, with lots of great achievements! The Coaches shared their knowledge of the game with the Juniors and witnessed some fantastic results. 

Thank you to everyone involved for their help and their generous donations and refreshments. Special thanks to Stan Alexander and Ged Dixon for the sponsorship of the practice balls, Alyn Cousins for arranging the sessions and Ulverston Golf Club for allowing us to use their facility. A final mention to our Juniors who were a credit to Dunnerholme Golf Club throughout the morning. 

Junior News – we are pleased to announce that our 2022 Junior Coaching sessions will be lead by the PGA’s Ernie Foster. Ernie will join us in April, alongside three new volunteer Junior Overseers – Elizabeth Dixon, Gordon Brackwell and Karl Shepherd. It is great to welcome new volunteers as the Junior Section continues to grow. 

We can also confirm that Dunnerholme have met all the criteria for their continued SafeGolf Accreditation for 2022. 
The next Junior Coaching session will be at 10.30 on Sunday 27th February at Dunnerholme Golf Club.
