JUNIOR CAPTAIN PAR 3 COMPETITION

JUNIOR CAPTAIN PAR 3 COMPETITION –

Monday 14th September our Junior Captain, Morgan Postlethwaite, held a par 3 competition. This was held over 6 holes and 33 juniors took part, a great turn out. We were lucky and the rain stayed away and the juniors had a great evening. Before the presentation Morgan’s family put on some food and drinks which was welcomed by all.

Nearest the pin on the 10th in 2 shots:-

Boy – Jonah Rigg

Girl – Harlow Moffett

Winning team was Jack Finnie, Oliver Laisby, Jonah Rigg, Harry Shenton, Austin Taylor and Jacob Sargent.

All juniors received a bag of sweets from the Junior Captain and prizes were awarded to the Nearest the Pin and the winning team.

Morgan did a thank you speech to coaches and juniors and said he has loved every minute representing Dunnerholme Golf Club and will always be thankful for the amazing opportunity.

A big thank you to Hayley, Stephen, Alan, Linsey, Morgan and Rowan, a lovely way to end the weekly coaching sessions.
