Remembering Gordon Albion

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our longstanding golf club members. Gordon’s dedication to the club was evident in every round played and every event attended.

Over the years, his friendly presence and unwavering sportsmanship made a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to know him.

Gordon joined the club in 1963, and took office as Captain in 1983. He served as a Council Member for many years, and was involved in many of the renovations and improvements at the club.

In 1994 he was elected President for the two year term, and continued to be involved in club affairs.

Gordon’s commitment to the club and its members never wavered, and his legacy will endure in the memories of all those who shared the greens and fairways with him.
In 2003 Gordon was awarded Life Membership for services to the Club.
