JUNIOR PRESIDENT’S DAY

JUNIOR PRESIDENT’S DAY – Monday 10th August

On another sunny afternoon, 27 juniors took part, playing in wo different competitions.

13 Juniors played in the 9-Hole comp with results as follows:

1st Jonah Rigg

2nd Henry Kirkby-Knowles

3rd Finley Shenton

NTP on 4th – Osca Gaitskill

14 juniors played in the Sixes ‘style’ competition

1st George Kavanagh

2nd Jacob Sargent

3rd Rowan Postlethwaite

NTP on 10th – Rowan Postlethwaite

A big thankyou to Mr President, Brian & Wife Sheila for sponsoring the event and their continued support to the junior section. As a thank you, Junior Captain – Morgan Postlethwaite presented Brian & Sheila with gifts.

In addition to the competition, a tombola was held to raise funds for Emily Coates, at last count £100 was raised and donated, this along with the sale of bracelets that Emily & family made was a lovely gesture and showed what a great club & local community we are.
