Dunnerholme Ladies AGM – 19th February

20 Ladies met in the clubhouse on Sunday for their annual general meeting. It was very encouraging to see new faces among the members attending. 

The new lady Captain Mrs Gill Newsome was elected to office for 2023, and Mrs Mary Doherty, Lady Vice Captain.

Lady Captain’s first duty after the meeting was to acknowledge the service of two of the Ladies Section by presenting Irene Brough with The England Golf  2023 Award for Volunteer of the Year, and to Meg (Mary) Tyson a Lifetime Service Award. A really lovely way for the Dunnerholme Ladies to start their new golfing year.
