Duddon Inshore Rescue Charity Open 2022

Over 100 Golfers took to the fairways at Dunnerholme to compete in the First Charity Open of the Golfing Year.
The first group teed off at 8.00am. It was a bright and sunny start but it would be the wind throughout the day that was the greatest challenge, and that led to some very close scores.
Thanks to the great support of all the golfers and friends of Dunnerholme, a total of £1,200.00 including proceeds from the raffle, was raised for the Charity.

The winning Pair was Dave and Joe Kavanagh with 44 points.
Second Steve Bolton and Lloyd Williams,(no photo) on a card play off 39 points (22 on the back nine) and in third place Ryan and Stuart Tippett. (20 on the back nine)
Neil Hargreaves from Duddon Inshore Rescue presented the Trophies and the prizes, and accepted the cheque for £1,200 on behalf of Duddon Inshore Rescue, a record amount for the Club Open in its 39 years of Competition.
