Winter Scramble and Warming Soup

The Ladies from Dunnerholme played Host to Furness and Barrow Ladies on Sunday. Teams were drawn for a fun Texas Scramble, the sun made a sporadic appearance at the outset and it was nearly sunshine all the way, but for a rogue shower that caught them out as they came up the finishing straight.
The Clubhouse was nice and warm and welcoming, where Lynne had prepared bowls of delicious hot soup for the players when they came in.

It was lovely to chat and catch up with old friends from other clubs, and it was a most enjoyable gathering, and everyone was keen to repeat the experience. Special thanks to Lynne whose idea it was, and whose delicious soup was enjoyed by all.
