Litre of Vino Event

A fun evening of golf was organised by Lady Captain Gill Newsome with 50 players enjoying the late sunshine, playing 9 holes. After a shotgun start, the golfer in each pair played to the hole, where the non-golfer picked up the putter and holed out. The golf was certainly improved by the Vino, which the players enjoyed on each hole. After the game Gill served pie & peas to everyone, while the score cards were verified.

Best score with the putter was Anne Lancaster, who was partnered by Graham Allen. The winning pair were Mark Hendley and Susan Miller.

Stand up Bingo followed the presentation with Dave Kavanagh and Gordon Brackwell shouting ‘house’ and Emily Derbyshire winning the Golf Card.

Yet another successful Dunnerholme ‘fund raiser’ planned and organised by Gill, ably assisted by Ken, in support of her Lady Captain’s Charity the Heart Foundation and club funds.
