Presentation Dinner 2022

Dunnerholme’s Prize Presentation took place on Friday evening.
Dunnerholme welcomed their guests, Steve Johnson President of Ulverston Golf Club and his wife Karen, the Captain of Barrow Golf Club Steve Trainer, a very welcome return to Paul Crarey, the guest speaker and his wife Julie, and our Patron Harry Barker with his wife Lynda Thechocolateroombyanthony, served a delightful meal, after which The Captain and Lady Captain presented the trophies to the winners of the 2022 competitions.
Paul gave an entertaining and informative speech about his career in Rugby, culminating in him being voted BetFred Championship Coach of the Year 2022. Paul was a member at Dunnerholme in his youth and the Golf Club members have a great connection with Barrow Raiders, and follow their progress with enthusiasm.
There was a special presentation to Meg Tyson, who, after organising the Presentation Dinners for many years was retiring. she was very moved, and said it had been a privilege. The enjoyment of the evening was further enhanced by the announcement of the engagement of our lovely life member, Val Readett to Mr. Dougie Boyd, we wish them every happiness.
