Annual Barometer Match Play at Silecroft

The Dunnerholme Ladies travelled to Silecroft Golf Club to defend the annual competition for “The Barometer”.
The Lady Captains, Gill Newsome and Dianne Clark played singles. And the other team members played Pairs Match Play.
Conditions were very testing, the wind proving to be very challenging. It was nip and tuck for the Captains, the match going to the 18th Hole, Silecroft Lady Captain taking the spoils.
The final score was 3 – 1 to Silecroft.
The SIlecroft Ladies welcomed us with refreshments and provided a delicious buffet afterwards, followed by a selection of lovely homemade cakes.  It’s always a great day out for the Dunnerholme Ladies and this Wednesday was no exception, we look forward to welcoming the Silecroft Ladies back to Dunnerholme in 2024 to defend their victory of the Barometer.
